amends + recovery have this one thing in common
how do you make amends with a loved one?
how do you resolve a disagreement with a friend?
how do you recover from financial setback?
how do you correct years of body betrayal with unhealthy habits?
they all require you to have this one thing —
gratitude.
you see — when you are grateful for the relationships in your life,
when you are grateful to have the means to provide for yourself + others,
when you are grateful for the lesson + grateful for another chance to live a full + rich life you can move forward on purpose with purpose.
the workaround is doing the internal work.
there is no quick way to make amends, yet there is a way + that way is through graciously accepting what had been done + moving forward with conviction + intention.
even in your hardest moments, there is still something to be grateful for, fam.
while finding the silver lining in it all, give yourself grace as you navigate the challenges, hardships, + difficulties you face.
life is easier when we can find + focus on the good.
