quite frankly, it doesn’t matter

“i don’t know what the future will bring…”

quite frankly, it doesn’t matter.

take the pressure of knowing off yourself + figure out what you can offer yourself right now that brings you joy.

“but, joy comes in the morning”…

perhaps it does.

you can also choose to experience it right here, right now.

promises like, “the sun will come out tomorrow” + the afore mentioned statements can be very inspirational + encouraging.

know what else is inspiring + encouraging?

finding the joy of dancing in the rain or in the black of night right now.

without our perceptions + our feelings, we’d lack the push to choose different for ourselves; to change.

life on our own terms means we don’t have to be stuck in our way of thinking or to feel stuck in our current situations.

we have the power to switch up our perceptions at any time we choose! 💯

so yea, you don’t know what the future brings, but you do know what this moment is giving you right now.

you do understand you can want peace later while also experiencing peace now, right?

tomorrow isn’t promised, fam —

find what you’re looking for in these moments that you have now.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

what is keeping you from experiencing joy right now?

what is keeping you from experiencing peace right now?

what is keeping you from experiencing freedom right now?
