rules serve a purpose in your life.
maybe not the purpose that you’ve been conditioned to believe such as following them without question…
nope, not that one.
when you think about the origin of rules, you realize they have nothing to do with you personally.
they are thoughts, ideas, principles, practices, + beliefs that belong to other people; their self-imposed limitations if you will.
adopting this perspective, one can better understand why people get so bent out of shape when we don’t follow their rules —
it’s not about us. it never was.
rather, it’s about what the rule maker(s) wants for us + feel is best for them.
what’s the point of constructing + imposing a rule when it robs one of choice?
control.
ego.
fear.
fuck all that “i know what’s best for you” talk + trust yourself.
with love + intention, evoke your imagination + creativity to forge a different way of life for yourself + others.
open yourself up to all possibilities + figure out what you can do with these “constraints”.
with a little ingenuity + innovation, what’s meant to stop you can inspire you to go further than you’ve ever imagined.
what their rules didn’t factor into the equation is you.
you are fuckin’ unstoppable, fam.
persist through this challenge + turn what is seemingly impossible into a real possibility…
because anything is possible, sis.
you’ve got this.
be you, be dope!
