when you think about it, dope things happen in the darkness —
babies are born
seeds germinate
yes, even those picture perfect moments captured on film need to be developed in a darkroom
when you’re going through some tough stuff, remember this: darkness cannot exist without the light.

you’ve seen the light on many occasions, hell both before + after dark periods —
what makes you think it won’t come back around this time?
also this: how will you fully appreciate the light without experiencing some darkness?
take the darkness in stride, sis.
use it as a forced pause, planning, + preparation period.
in the darkness is where the real work begins, where your faith is activated.
it’s where you remember who the fuck you are + reclaim your power.
release your fear + judgment of the darkness (it’s not good or bad, it just is),
see the darkness as a mirror,
+ use it to pinpoint where the internal work’s gotta start.
this, too, will pass.
