to be driven by claims + expectations

it’s one thing to be driven by purpose + passion.

that type of work is fulfilling + brings about a pleasurable experience.

it’s another thing to be driven by claims + expectations.

there are claims that if you do this, then you’ll get that, but what does any of it matter if you fail to enjoy the entire experience?

you define your successes, fam.

you get to decide if an experience is for you or if you want to sit it out.

you don’t have to do what anyone else is doing to be considered big time, successful, or important.

do your heart’s work.

operate from a place of purpose.

why are you doing what you do?

do you feel fulfilled?

if not, where is your heart leading you?

why are you resisting the direction of your heart’s path?

what do you hope to gain by going against your own instincts, purpose, + passions?

why are these things important to you?

who you are + what you do is enough.

we need to experience you — whatever you do included.

regardless of how small or insignificant we’ve been programmed to view it as, know that it matters.

you matter, sis.

your desires matter, too.

do you.

be you, be dope!
