you no longer have to be held hostage by your current situation or circumstances to feel a certain way:
go ‘head + give yourself permission to feel how you want to feel right now.
when folks feel a way about what’s going on around them,
when others want your feelings + actions to reflect the same intensity as theirs + people are looking to you to “play your part”,
remind yourself that you have agency over your own feelings;
you to get to decide what you want to experience right now.
two things to keep in mind about your feelings: they are fleeting + they aren’t facts!
all feelings aren’t wanted so to that, work through your difficult feelings.
accept that they’ve shown up (sometimes they have the audacity to show up unannounced 🙄).
get curious about them + ask them why they’ve decided to stop by in this moment.
then decide.

yes, even undesired feelings can work for you — you get to decide which ways you wanna use them!
fam, you don’t have to see mountains move before you decide to feel grateful for today.
you can feel that shit now.
whatever you want to feel, remember that choice is yours to make.
