anyone can get excited.
anyone can be fired up + ready to get the job done.
we witness this build up of emotion often —
when we’re in the beginning stages of planning an event with friends or family
when we start a new job or implement a new activity into our lifestyles
when we enter into a new relationship with someone
excitement makes you want to act + act now!
oh, the butterflies, the sincere smiles, the glimmers of hope, + the “i’m gonna see this through” attitude we experience during this initial phase.
but what happens when the excitement wears off?
what happens when the results we expected to see aren’t showing up immediately?
what happens when we’re faced with conflict + discomfort?
do we abandon the cause?
do we bail out + peace out?
or… do we see it through?
today, choose to commit.
quitting is an option + sticking it out is one, too.
discern your concern(s).
examine your reasons for deciding to bounce.
are your reasons for bailing in alignment with your core?
are they a representation of who you are?
are they based in fear, lack, or scarcity?
dig deep.
don’t give yourself that shallow bullshit you’ve been feeding yourself for years.
reacting with excitement is cool + all.
it’s a dope way to ignite us into action + while it helps us get through tougher situations + circumstances, it’s not necessary for sustainability.
commitment, though… that’s takes intentional.
so, be intentional.
commitment is something everyone can do, but i assure you many won’t.
ask yourself: am i willing to remember my “why” + allow it to serve as a guide on my journey?
will you see it through, fam?
be you, be dope!
