the “number one spot”

look at the person to your left,

then to the person to your right.

someone in front of or behind you right now?

glance their way, too, + repeat after me:

collaboration over competition

there are endless opportunities available to all of us today.

each + every one of us has the ability to capitalize on opportunities.

we’ve been told for so long that we are competing against others for resources, for opportunities, for money, for relevance, etc. when in fact, there is no competition to be had especially when the person beside you isn’t competing with you.

abundance means everybody eats, fam.

you will get yours, they will get theirs. periodt, point blank.

the way to get more isn’t by taking it away from someone else.

in fact, the way to get more is by coming together + lending our respective expertise to one another.

imagine how many more opportunities can come from that!

the “number one spot” is arbitrary + fake news.

at the end of the day, none of that shit matters.

focus on doing your best + the rest will sort itself out.

collaborate with others + encourage them to keep going; to continue following their dreams + living life on their own terms because you lose absolutely nothing by giving others space to be their best selves.

but your gains? ooooweeee!

you gain so much perspective + peace of mind when you can accept that abundance surrounds you + no one — absolutely no one — can interfere with what has your name on it.

be you, be dope!
