wanna know what’s more irritating than speaking with someone who “lacks the competence” or doesn’t display “common sense”?
the person who is judging them for not having the knowledge in that moment.
don’t be that person, fam.
competence is subjective, everything ain’t so common + that common sense everyone claims to have isn’t universally known.
today, when someone comes to you with a question or doesn’t know something you think they should, show compassion.
when others are open to learning, put your patience on display + showcase your abundant mindset —
there’s enough space + time for us all to learn + grow.
johnny might have three apples 🤣, but what does that mean to someone who is having a hard time understanding what you’re talking about?
there was a time you didn’t know what you didn’t know + guess what?
you learned.
someone or something (i.e. life) taught you what you needed to know, even if that someone was yourself.
whether 8 years old, 80 years old, or 8 months, pass along what you know + give others space to do the same.
we can all choose to spread love, light, + knowledge instead of condemning, judging, + berating others for not knowing what we know.
be you, be dope!
