hardly anything —
two words that describe what you brought into this world with you.
you were born naked + with limited (+ innate) capabilities:
you knew how to cry,
you knew how to eat,
you knew how to move (nothing too complex or coordinated, though)
+
you knew how to use your environment + community (your resources) to help you get the most out of life.
from those limitations came forth the ability to feed yourself, the ability to speak up for yourself, + the ability move your body in ways unimaginable…
hell, you even are clothed to your comfort right now.
+ you didn’t have to do it alone, either.
whether you label yourself as self sufficient or experience limited to no mobility (wheelchair bound), are mute, or are in need of every day assistance, you’ve made the most of life with the help of others.
you didn’t know then how you’d make it, yet your uncertainty didn’t stop you from being here in this moment.
you found a way, fam.
let this serve as proof that limits have never stopped you from getting what you need.
never.
so, why give your circumstances so much power over your current situation?
why use so many excuses to come to a screeching halt now?
even with limited abilities, you can + have figured out how to get exactly what you need.
you’re walking proof that when skills are developed + applied, we can turn nothing into something.
i mean, look at you —
you have all that you need right now + are doing the damn thang with it!
don’t let up on learning,
don’t let up on connecting,
+
don’t let up on your dreams.
be you, be dope!
