it’s limiting your ability to dream

there was a time in your life when you believed in your dreams.

your imagination, knowing zero restrictions, would run wild + you’d come up with some of the wildest, most beautiful thoughts + ideas —

had a nerve to believe in them, too! 🥰

growing up + being told that we needed to “tap into reality” really did a number on some of us, didn’t it, fam?

somehow now we still believe, but with a pessimistic overlay + only to a certain extent.

today, peel back the layers.

revisit those long forgotten dreams by engaging in activities that brought you joy way back when you didn’t have a care in the world.

naturally, you understand that if something is harmful to you + your well-being to skip that experience.

however, there are many activities in which you can partake that not only bring you joy, but will help you jog your memories + engage with who you are at your core.

what was a childhood dream you constantly referred to when saying, “when i grow up, i want to…”?

what were you doing in that dream?

what’s changed in that dream now?

what lifestyle do you most desire now?

your self-imposed limitations are limiting your ability to dream.

forget, for one moment, all of the restrictions you’ve placed on your life —

all the things you say can’t do because you don’t have the money + other resources

all the things you refuse to do because of your fears

all of the things you think you can’t do, haven’t necessarily attempted ever in life, but strongly feel you can’t pull off —

forget all of that + dream.

what does that dream look like to you?

the only thing standing between where you want to be vs. where you are now is you.

use what you’ve got now to begin living the lifestyle you most desire to live —

you know the one where you’re doing what you want on your own terms because freedom + you’re living a full, peaceful + easeful life.

if the lifestyle you desire isn’t the life you’re currently living now, what does that lifestyle look like for you?

dream + dream big, fam + go for everything you’ve ever wanted

periodt.

be you, be dope!
