we all have to start somewhere, fam.
when we are figuring out where we want to go, how to proceed when we are knocked off our game, +/or what to do in moments of confusion, there is really only one way to move forward:
start somewhere.
you don’t need more time.
you don’t need more money.
you don’t even need more information.
you know what you need?
every thing you already have.
you have enough time, money, information — enough of every thing you can think of — to start somewhere, to start now.
how do you know i have enough to get started, P?
because fam —
when has anything but you + your excuses stopped you from getting exactly what you needed or wanted?
you always make a way when you want a way.
the challenges you’ve overcome may seem like impossible feats to others, but look at where you are in relation to them:
on the other side.
not to mention —
i’ve seen kindness pay for a whole meal.
i’ve seen patience get someone home safely.
i’ve seen mere existence, a person being none other than themselves, receive money as a gift from a perfect stranger.
so don’t keep telling yourself you need more than what you’ve got to get started.
take action today, fam.
do all those things you keep putting off —
exercise your patience
speak with love in the heart + on the tongue
walk into every room with confidence
pause before speaking
live your life with intention
frfr, starting somewhere looks like starting now.
take what you’ve got + use it the best way you know how to use it.
don’t settle for your excuses, either.
we’re focusing on delivering only our best efforts today.
do your best. be your best.
be you, be dope!
