though it can never be accurately measured, we are constantly using the concept of time as a unit of measurement.
we use it to measure our intervals, our distance, + surprisingly our successes.
we stay counting the seconds, days, months, + years when it’s the moments that count the most.
the way we like to see it, fam, time is either working for us or it’s working against us.
the reality is that time is what time is + it doesn’t matter what time it is unless you’re willing to do use it right now.
three years from now looks much different when you start using your time now to change your circumstance.
moving your body for 30 minutes today may leave you feeling beat + weary.
over time, 30 minutes of movement a day creates a stronger body with higher endurance levels.
writing a journal entry for the first time may seem silly + counterproductive of wanting to forget a “fucked up” day, sitting in stillness for the first time may feel pointless + have you feeling restless, + drinking a green smoothie for the first time may taste like fresh grass.
however, doing these activities every single day for the next six months can clear your head, improve your focus, detox + regulate your body, + have your mental health sky rocket to new realms of clarity!
the deal with time is this:
no matter how much we have of it, no matter how much we hoard it, no matter how much more of it we want, none of it matters unless we start using it today.
allow time to amplify your efforts.
it doesn’t have to be used as a marker of success, it can be used as an invitation to start something different; a marker + basis of focus, intentionality, + your mindset in this moment.
use the time you have here, the time you have now, to do something you’ve always wanted to do — live life on your own terms.
you have time for that.
be you, be dope!
