getting that “old thang” back

one thing we love to do is sit back + remember how good life was in a moment.

forget all the past wrongs, we don’t wanna relive those moments at all!

how often do we reminisce on life + find ourselves longing for how life used to be? we want to get back

get back to the old us before (insert major life altering incident)

get back to the thinner/thicker us

get back to the younger, more agile us

get back to the carefree lives we used to live before adulthood overtook our lives

get back to simpler times

today, challenge yourself to look at how good life is now.

don’t allow today to fall into the “i wish i had paid more attention to the moment” category of your life that you’ll replay over + over again due to regret of not being fully present + appreciative of the moment.

today, decide that you will live your life in a way that not only acknowledges the beauty + the possibility of today, but in a way that takes full advantage of the opportunities today brings.

appreciate all that today brings, memories included.

yes, the old version of you was cool, but this version of you right here, right now?

top tier.

the dopest there is, fam.

experience today with the attitude of gratitude.

thank your past for the ultimate set up.

you are the dopest version of yourself today because of your past experiences + guess what?

you’re only getting doper + doper by the day!

soon enough, today will also be one of those dope life memories…

that is, of course, if you decide to live today with the fullness + appreciation it deserves.

be you, be dope!
