life is much different when you are cornered with support + encouragement.
when people have our backs + are uplifting us when we feel our lowest, we can feel invincible.
however, more times than not we can look to our left + to our right + see no one.
in times when we feel isolated or lonely, we must remember that we still can.
we still can stand up for what we believe in even when we’re standing alone.
we still can live life on our own terms when no one agrees with what we’re doing.
we still can stand tall in our truths when others are urging us to do life their way.
at any given point in your life, you may feel the odds are seemingly stacked against you, yet you can make a way through — whatever the circumstance, whatever the situation, + through any adversity.
whether you’ve got an army behind you or you’re moving in an army of one like the giant slayer David, know that you are fully supported by the universe to overcome any obstacle in your way.
the life source, God, is constantly + consistently making a way for you out of no way.
believe that where you are standing right now is a secure enough platform to support you + whomever wants to join you while you explore possibilities + decide where to go next.
making progress is your way of life, fam.
keep living as if it’s all sorted for you because well… it already is.
truly.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
let’s say you are certain about your direction before talking with others, are you less likely to move if people don’t agree with you?
recall a time when you listened to someone else over your better judgement + was met with an unfavorable outcome.
how did it make you feel?
what steps are you currently taking to ensure you are living an unforgettable + less regrettable life?
My husband bought me a new laptop for Christmas, knowing this was the one gift I was going to get myself in the New Year. I set goals- a new laptop was a goal. I am applying for a new job- a county director position. I have thrown this into the universe and am ready for 2024 to bring big challenges into my life. I am starting my book, the one I have been asked to write for so many years. It all started with the new laptop and now 2024 will bring the next steps. By the way: the laptop is bright red! My husband reported that he could not see buying me a plain colored laptop since I am so much more bright in life, so he chose red for my fierce determination and will to be successful. I think he chose right.
