the reasons why knowing “how” is meaningless

the habit of constantly wanting to know “how” things will work out is holding you back from living an incredibly dope life.

how does know “how” change anything?

if you knew “how” it all works out will you decide different?

today, forget about the “how” + concentrate on the “why“!

first things first: you’re capable of finding a way to make it happen for you + that’s on period.

the vision was given to you because you are capable enough to execute it + achieve your goal.

also, life doesn’t work in certainty; it works in possibility.

imagine thinking it has to work out this way + this way only, when even the slightest variation in life can throw that whole idea out of the window —

talk about disappointment + hurt feelings!

another reason (+ arguably the best reason) why wanting to know “how” is holding us back from truly living living is this:

it deters us from exercising our faith, our trust, our optimism, + our creativity.

long story short: it cripples our capabilities + causes us to default to a boring ass life. 🤷🏾‍♀️

knowing exactly “how” everything works out is a Debbie downer in disguise.

where’s the sense of accomplishment that comes with figuring out the seemingly unsolvable? when one uncovers new possibilities + has that “aha” moment?

where’s the ingenuity in figuring out a solution to a problem?

where’s the gratitude for everything working out maybe even better than expected?

life works in possibilities + pays with opportunities.

every moment, you are presented with every possible way to proceed + given a plethora of opportunities to choose from that possess the power to propel you toward your desired goal.

bottom line: either you really want to do it + find a way or you want to make every excuse to not to do it + don’t.

you don’t have to know “how” when your “why” is strong + centered because you’re always gonna find a way to make life work out for you. period.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

recall a time when you believed something should happen one way, but it didn’t + everything still worked out for you.

is knowing “how” going to change your mind about centering your “why”? why or why not?
