you can’t always control your circumstances or the situation, but there is something you can always control:
your perspective.
no matter how limited your perspective may be in this moment, you always have the choice to expand it.
by seeing things differently, you give yourself permission to form a different opinion.
maybe now, instead of feeling annoyed that you are experiencing a certain moment, you can choose to express gratitude that you are learning more about your likes + dislikes + what you truly want to experience in life.
instead of seeing a situation or circumstance as a burden, you can now choose to see it as a stepping stone you can use on your way to where you want to go.
today, flip the script on your mindset.
when you find yourself dwelling in the past, conjuring up judgmental thoughts, or worrying about the future, take a step back to examine your thoughts, to challenge your current perspective, + to change how you decide to proceed.
distractions are gonna do what they do best, fam.
they are gonna distract you from where your focus, time, + energy is most effective + of best service.
resist the urge to worry about what other people have going on with their lives + become fully invested in what it is that you must do to experience the lifestyle you desire.
what really matters to you right now?
turn your attention there + allow yourself to experience life from a fresh perspective.
be you, be dope!
