it’s not the fact that you have to achieve something because let’s be real:
you’re constantly achieving one thing or another.
it’s that what you want to achieve doesn’t align with what you are achieving on a consistent basis.
there is a clear disconnect between your intentions + your current actions.
today, reignite your flame of passion by focusing on achieving what you most desire.
when we are passionate about something, there is little to nothing that can take our concentration from it.
understand that it’s not a matter of achievement, it’s a matter of meaningful + purposeful successes that will give you the fulfillment of achieving your goals.
it means absolutely nothing to you to continue living your life for the gratification of others.
they may relish in your achievements, they may brag on you a little, but what does it all mean when you aren’t deeply connected with the results?
why do it when it means you’re compromising your joy + peace to live with it?
why fill yourself with resentment by doing only what others want you to do with your life while putting your dreams on the backburner?
why keep doing meaningless tasks for the sake of others approval, appreciation, + recognition?
your life has meaning.
no matter if you’re selling water from door to door in a neighborhood,
or ringing up a customer at your local grocery store,
or working your dream job,
does the work you do fulfill you?
are you passionate about serving others in that capacity?
when it means something to you, you’re doing meaningful + purposeful work that brings value to this world.
that’s the ultimate achievement.
that’s what it looks like to fulfill your dreams.
be you, be dope!
