planning has its place,
watching + learning does as well,
but nothing beats going out there + doing it.
thinking about it too long can cause you analysis paralysis —
you know, where you think about something with so much depth that you start overthinking + before you know it, you’re talking yourself out of taking action.
seeing what + how others do what they do is cool when you are also inspired to make a move.
complaining about how they do it or proclaiming you can do it better when you’re sitting on your hands is trifflin’, unproductive, + undermines the work + value others bring to this world.
today, don’t talk about it, be about it.
when you doubt it can be done, show yourself otherwise.
when you are afraid of what may come, focus more on what can be.
when you are deciding between taking the necessary action + putting your best foot forward or staying stagnant + complaining about how different life can be, remember things can change when you take action.
ain’t no point in wishing there was more information before you start or more resources to use when you won’t even use what you already have to get you going.
you aren’t fooling anyone but yourself when you say “i need more of this before i can get started with…” because you’ve already got every thing you need to start.
taking action takes effort.
taking meaningful action takes intention.
will you be intentional today?
will you make a move?
be you, be dope!

are you still in the planning stages of getting started?
what exactly do you think you need right now to get you going?
what do you have right now that can fill that void?
