complaining about opportunities again? do this.

do the thing you keep putting off, fam.

the time is passing regardless of the situation or circumstances you find yourself facing these days, so why not give yourself something to show for it?

doing what must be done doesn’t have to be boring, either.

working out + staying fit can be the highlight of your day when you decide to partake in an activity that you enjoy.

the place you call home can put an all inclusive vacation to shame when you’re investing your time + energy into making it into a space of peace + tranquility (read: cleaning it + taking care of it).

while you wait for your food to finish cooking or for your friend to call you back, you can use that time to read a devotional, do a little dance, or sit in silence for a quick mind cleanse.

today, instead of complaining about the opportunities (or lack thereof) that you have before you, change how they’re presented to you by changing how you view them.

right now, you have the opportunity to use your time in a purposeful + intentional way, regardless of whether you want to do the task at hand or not.

find a way to enjoy your life while doing what you know must be done.

it’s nothing for you to go about your day humming a gentle tune, loving on the people you encounter, + if you feel compelled to say something, saying a kind word or two while you’re completing that non-negotiable task.

get what you need to do done + do it without putting yourself through unnecessary anguish.

the thing you need to do won’t go away simply because you won’t do it or are avoiding it like the plague —

so do it.

why not give yourself something else to big up yourself about today?

be you, be dope!
