anything can be taken as disrespect.
the way you look at someone,
the tone in which you choose to speak,
even the mannerisms you display toward others can all be deemed disrespectful depending on the person receiving it.
anything can be taken as loving + caring.
the way you look at someone,

how you decide to experience life can be very different than how others decide to experience it.
further, how you decide to interrupt what you’re doing +/or going through may have a whole different meaning than someone going through/experiencing the exact same situation or circumstance.
today, choose the experience you want to live.
do you want to be offended?
do you want to nitpick at the slightest things?
do you want to laugh?
do you want to say how you feel without guessing how someone may or may not react?
do you want to be free?
do you want to show nothing but love + support?
intentionally decide what you want to do + then do it.
though your intentions may not always match your impact, at the very least you know you’re coming from a place of integrity + you have no problem owning your actions (even if that includes issuing an apology for the impact they may have caused).
just as you’d like someone to expect your best intentions, expect that they, too, are doing the best they can in this moment.
what you’re currently experiencing can change depending on how you decide to perceive life + the experiences that it brings forth today.
no matter if you choose to feel disrespected or choose to feel loved, know that it’s always your choice to feel the way you do.
your life experiences can change when you decide to change how you experience your life, fam.
be you, be dope!

what do you consider disrespectful? why?
when someone calls you disrespectful, but you don’t feel that you are, does that still make you disrespectful? why or why not?
