you want your lick back, huh?

courage stretches beyond strength + confidence building exercises + actions,

displaying courage can also be as simple as:

showing compassion, even when others are choosing rudeness

allowing love to lead no matter the circumstance

not using revenge as a response to disappointment

today, have the courage to go against the status quo + do what you know is fair in your heart.

rather than giving people a dose of their own medicine, give them a taste of the healing medicine called kindness + compassion from your healed mind + spirit.

it’s easy to leave someone confused + second guessing their disrespectful ways when you remain pleasant during your interactions.

you don’t have to treat others with respect + kindness, but you do + that’s confusing when they feel they deserve otherwise.

you hold the power to change your mood, your actions, + your attitude.

that’s a birthright given to you, the author of your story.

why give it away something so powerful + life changing to others, to circumstances, +/or to situations that are beyond our control?

don’t worry about getting your lick back, worry about if who you are choosing to be in this moment is aligned with who you are at your core.

see who you are + if you aren’t who you want to be, focus on what actions you must take to become that person + have the courage to become that person today.

be you, be dope!
