today, take a damn break.

you’ve done so much, are doing much more, + can do more than before when you start valuing how necessary it is to completely walk away from constantly doing something all the time + taking a break.

rest is essential.

it’s not simply a choice you’ll make when you’re tired, it’s the choice your body will make for you when you’re exhausted.

by the time your body demands rest, you’ve already overexerted yourself.

what’s to gain from running yourself into the ground for the sake of being seen doing the most all the time?

is recognition from the world around you so important to you that you have to compromise your health?
