you know that person you were rude to has hardships, too, right?
you understand that, like you, others have personal issues plaguing their minds they may have a hard time putting into words right now, yeah?
you do realize that stress + anxiety, worry + uncertainty, depression + sadness can manifest in any of our lives, correct?
today, practice intentional kindness.
outside of yourself + your own struggles, there are others who are going through struggles of their own.
yea, they may lash out + project, they may even blame you for their shortcomings —
accept that they are doing the best with what they have.
this isn’t a call to excuse shitty behavior, rather allow this call-in to serve as a invitation to not take what you see personally.
imagine giving someone a loving word, a kind gesture, or a simple smile instead of feeding them what they may think + what you may feel they deserve in that moment + how that can shift the energy in the atmosphere.
well P, i’m going through something, too + i didn’t sign up for all this understanding shit, anyway!
you aren’t the first or the last person who will have some shit happen to them today — they aren’t either.
but when does the tit for tat end, fam?
who ends the generational trauma?
who petitions for peace?
who finally drops the attitude + doesn’t allow personal problems of others to dictate how, when, where, how, + why they’ll react?
when does it all stop?
if you’re experiencing a cold, harsh reality today, take it upon yourself to change your attitude, your experience, + your outlook on life.
an intentional act of kindness can change your world, their world, + our world, + trust:
this world can benefit from all the kindness it can get, fam.
be you, be dope!
