more than a mood

you are more than your current mood + feelings.

there’s no way you can reduce all of who you are into an adjective that describes your current state of being.

beyond how you feel in this moment, beyond the mood you carry, you are the decision maker in your life.

+ being that you are hdcic (head dope chick in charge 😏) you are more than capable of controlling your current mood + feelings.

today, reclaim your power by deciding to flip the switch on your mood when you want to experience a different state of being in your life.

you don’t have to allow anger, shame, or jealousy to take the lead in any situation — oh, quite the contrary actually, fam!

you can feel those feelings, honor that they exist, welcome them to come + sit with you for a while, 

AND you get decide when to evict your house guests 😉 they don’t have the right to stay indefinitely or without your permission!

thankfully, it’s been established + proven that circumstances don’t really matter.

people can have their own feelings that are very independent of your own, they can be in a mood or you in a mood +, though sometimes difficult to process + navigate, neither mood has to affect the other person’s state of being.

you are more than what you’re feeling right now. 

you are an independent thinker, free to feel your fleeting feelings, + you get to control your mood today — not the other way around, got it?
