what you do vs. what you want to experience

you know what you want to see, what you want to experience in life.

make sure that your decisions align with that desired outcome.

doing what must be done is one of the ways to ensure that what you want to experience comes into fruition.

it’s less likely you’ll see the sunrise in the mornings when you’re in the bed sleeping at daybreak.

today, allow the consequences of your actions to guide you into making your best decisions.

think far enough ahead that you are mindful of what may come about based on the actions in which you choose to partake.

the consequence of mindfully eating nourishing meals outweighs the consequence of mindlessly consuming junk food.

likewise, the consequence of taking your time + proceeding with clarity far outweighs the consequence of doing a task quickly + again, mindlessly.

put thought, effort, + intention into all that you do, fam.

doing what’s best comes at a cost + requires great sacrifice.

the best gift you can give yourself today is the gift of gratitude —

today, thank yourself for making decisions where the consequences are ones that will positively impact + influence your future.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

what are the consequences of taking action today? what are the consequences of not taking action today? which consequences with which you are willing to live?
