you cannot outrun this forever. address it now.

how does one relish in the freedom of living life on your own terms?

surely it isn’t by avoidance, fam.

running away from your problems will wear you down.

not only are you constantly on the run, but you also aren’t solving the problem giving it a chance to become even bigger.

today, stop running.

park it, put on your thinking cap, + think for a while.

what is the issue?

what steps can you take today to address this issue?

a resolution will come in time.

though a resolve is something we are actively seeking, the real expectation is that in time, all things will resolve so long as we take action.

right now, life needs you to act.

it doesn’t need another excuse as to why you aren’t doing what is necessary,

it damn sure doesn’t need you to become a track star in attempts to continue outrunning the issue.

stop, address the issue at hand, + brainstorm some ideas of ways to move forward with your life while overcoming the obstacle that stands in front of you.

you don’t have to know all of the answers right this instant; however, know that you are capable of resolving what continuously rears itself as problematic in your life, even if that means finding a workaround or changing your attitude about it.

you can make shift happen in your life.

you can experience living life on your own terms.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

what do you keep putting off doing that you know needs your undivided attention today? discuss the pause you took to address the issue: where were you? when did it happen? what did you do? what ideas did you come up with during this time? what will you do now?
