it’s funny how quickly our calendar fills with things to do.
future dates + tomorrows are filled with so many things to do, so many people to see, + so many memories to share.
we also fill our tomorrows with unnecessary worry by putting off what we can do today, saving it for later because we can’t be bothered with it today.
all the while, we fail to realize that tomorrow comes with its own set of rules + surprises, + we are unknowingly robbing ourselves of experiencing tomorrow to its fullest extent by piling on the troubles of today.
today, deal with your shit in the here + now, fam.
don’t put it off for tomorrow + give tomorrow unnecessary grief.
sort out your dealings,
put a “period” in places that deserve an ending,
+
prepare yourself to receive tomorrow worry + care-free.
you don’t know what tomorrow brings,
but know that you can help lighten its load by doing all that you can do today.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
why do you continue to overload tomorrow with your worries when you can sort out some shit today? deal with something you’ve been putting off until “tomorrow”. now that it’s done, how do you feel about its completion?
