you’ve worked hard to get to where you are now,

you’ve sacrificed much + despite the odds, you have done some really dope things, fam.

you may not be exactly where you want to be + that’s okay.

the feelings you have about your current situation + circumstances in life can still reflect gratefulness, excitement, + contentment. 

today, realize that your feelings don’t have to reflect your current circumstances.

every thing can seemingly be falling apart + you can still exhibit joy, you can still feel good about where you are + what you’ve been doing, + you can still honor + respect your growth, commitment, + tenacity.

you can feel more than one thing at a time, fam.

yes, that means you are allowed to feel exactly how you want to feel without fulfilling some weird prerequisite of feeling disappointed, angry, sad, or upset due to where you are in life.

free yourself from the shackles of your feelings.

feel deeply, connect with your inner self + your feels, + honor where you may be in the moment.

also, recognize that you can improve them — you can choose to change them + you can follow through with your choice.

you don’t ever have to feel stuck or stagnant, down + out, or totally defeated because life is lifin’ how it loves to life.

you can choose to accept life for what it is + be your happy go lucky self whenever you choose.

the chaos nor the calm can dictate who you are + how you feel, fam.

you hold the key to that.
