all achievement happens “in spite of”

those high achievers we tend to idolize are no different than we are, fam.

they have fears, they have worries, + they have anxieties, too.

so one may wonder:

with all the stressors surrounding achieving, how do they have such high achievements under their belt?

the answer is more simple than we care to admit.

high achievers do work in spite of —

in spite of how they feel in the moment,

in spite of what others may say,

in spite of the lack of support,

in spite of their own personal fears,

in spite of limitations —

in spite of whatever situations or circumstances pop up in their lives they choose to continue pressing forward + doing the work.

life itself isn’t divisive so much as we are ourselves.

it doesn’t say, “these people are fully equipped + these people are not”.

all life does is hands us challenges.

individually, we get to determine whether or not we will use every excuse in the book to justify why a challenge is impossible +/or why we can’t overcome it,

or

we will rise to the occasion, put in our best efforts, + make a decision to move in the direction of dreams regardless of what’s standing in our way.

there is no difference between high achievers + yourself, fam.

you have free will + choice, + you can always choose to commit + persist in life in spite of whatever comes your way.

so, what you gonna do?

be you, be dope!
