what your gut feelings are really saying to you

sometimes, what your gut is telling you doesn’t make any logical sense.

that doesn’t make it wrong, misinformed, or irrational, though.

your body, by nature, operates off of the innate ability of doing + being.

the problem is you’ve ignored your instincts for so long that they’ve began feeling foreign to you, most times feeling as if these instincts are coming completely from left field.

today, connect with your ancestral intelligence by honoring your subconscious thoughts that come to you as gut feelings.

realize that your dna surpasses logic + reason, + that you are a culmination of experiences in which your ancestors not only survived, they thrived.

you may have never met your great-great-grandmothers, but you sure as day have their discerning spirits + captivating rhetoric.

you may have never met your grandfather’s father, but it’s clear his street smarts + ingenuity flows through your veins.

all i’m saying is that feeling you’re feeling that what you’re doing right now doesn’t completely align with who you are at your core,

that strong pivot that’s haunting your spirit,

the ick you get when the vibes in the environment ain’t vibin’,

that longing to do something different — to explore your gifts in grave detail + honor your ability to create — it’s not by happenstance.

the unexplainable doesn’t equate to unreasonable or untrue.

today, take the time to thoroughly explore your feelings + consider reigniting your gut-mind connection by accepting your innate instinctual intelligence.

be you, be dope!
