today has one job to fulfill

today has one job to fulfill:

to exist until tomorrow.

today can go one way or another —

left, right, up, down, forward…

doesn’t matter which direction it goes because today has no bounds.

today is filled with disappointment, struggle, + strife as much as it is filled with possibility, opportunity, + endless abundance.

life didn’t set intentions for the day or give it directions —

that’s something you must do, fam.

since today can go in any direction, it’s your responsibility to give it directions by setting your intentions so it can work with you to accomplish, achieve, + experience life on your own terms.

before you start giving it tons of directions + setting expectations for it to move at your pace or do what you want it to do, you must first explore how days work.

that may look like exploring days with genuine curiosity,

asking life questions for clarity,

silently observing what happens in a day,

being flexible + down for what the day may bring,

listening to + learning from it,

+

giving it room to be.

days are not meant to be stiff or bogged down with a tight schedule that has no breathing room whatsoever —

rigidity is quite the contrast of it’s natural state of being.

today, set your intentions while being flexible with what the day may bring.

it can bring you challenges that make your mind swirl + your pits sweat.

it can introduce to you perspectives you never thought to explore.

it can grant you opportunities you never imagined.

be open to the possibilities, fam.

in all that you do, know that life is always working for your good.

no matter what happens today know that the time is going to pass regardless of whether you move with intention or not.

with the time you have today, you can do, be, + see many dope things.

today is the first time in your life you’ll get a. moment like this.

use it wisely.

be you, be dope!
