you think no one sees you, but people notice

if you can sit in silence + shrink yourself, you can speak boldly in front of a crowd.

it sounds… odd, + doesn’t seem to correlate; however, one definitely does support the other.

here’s the thing, fam:

we think that by not drawing attention to ourselves that we are not drawing attention to ourselves.

that’s simply not the case.

people notice the quietest person in the room as much as they notice the the loudest.

you aren’t doing yourself any favors by holding back + thinking you’re going unnoticed because guess what, fam?

people notice you.

whole time you think you’re incognito, your quiet demeanor + selective silence are what draw people to you.

you may not be the loudest in the room, but you are absolutely noticeable — absolutely.

so what’s the difference between speaking up + staying silent?

what’s the difference between boldly stepping into your purpose with passion + drive, + believing you are the fly on the wall that no one notices?

the difference is all in a choice.

today, choose who you want to show up as + in what ways you want to show up in your life.

it’s not that you don’t have the confidence —

it’s with that same confidence you’ve decided to convince yourself that you’re blending into the background (you aren’t unnoticeable, by the way 🙃)

so the same way you think no one is paying attention to you,

the same way you believe that quietly walking through life is the answer,

the same way that you keep deciding to play it small,

is the same way you can flip a 180,

pop out on purpose with purpose,

+

show the world who tf you are.

be you, be dope!
