you wished for it, now why do you want it?

looking back, you may wish you had started sooner,

wished you had listened to your gut + followed your instincts,

or

wished you had followed your heart + did that one thing that one time.

it’s okay to have hopes + dreams,

but hopes + dreams that you take no action to achieve are wishes waiting to be fulfilled.

today, make your wishes come true.

what happened in the past is done, so focus on what you can do today.

start small, be patient, + give yourself grace.

fulfilling a wish is big business because it’s something that matters to you.

of course you want to have a pleasant experience when undertaking such a task —

i mean who doesn’t want that, fam?

further, you are a wishing machine + have accumulated many of them over the years–

what do you plan on doing with all those wishes?

don’t allow your fear of the unknown to keep you stagnant.

part of the reason you have so many wishes now has largely to do with that fear you’ve felt in the past.

+ then there’s this:

sometimes, what we are wishing for is something we regret, so take careful notes of what you’re wishing for, fam.

every wish you’ve made may not be totally aligned with your heart’s desires, with your core values, or with the lifestyle you want to experience.

what we thought we wanted may not be what we needed in that moment, so it’s important to revisit your why —

why do you want it, fam?

clearing the wish list requires a start date + time.

you have wishes to fulfill + you have now —

what wishes will you fulfill today?

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

write about a wish you had that never came true, but now feels like a regret. when did the wanting turn into a loss? was it a choice you made, or did life decide for you? what, if anything, are you doing about it today?
