putting forth your best effort isn’t about achieving perfection.

half-assing it? well that ain’t your best, either.

so what is ‘doing your best‘?

enveloped with enthusiasm + passion, ‘doing your best‘ looks like moving with intention + purpose, regardless of what happens.

’cause lemme share this with you: every outcome won’t be favorable, sis.

doesn’t mean you didn’t give your best, though.

today, your best efforts today may look like:

folding + putting away clean laundry — who cares that you’ve still got a pile to go? 

sending out a few emails that contain a few typos — did they get the message, though?!

a 10 min yoga session — it’s more movement than you’d be doing sitting still, right?

shit — writing in your journal AND reading 5 pages before bed? you’re on FIRE! 🔥

no matter how small shit may seem in the moment, you not only did what you could do, you did your best.

don’t focus on what could have been, fam.

allow your best to get better by always putting your best foot forward.

find peace in knowing that today your best is enough.

you aren’t trying to do your best,

you are doing your best + that’s the difference.
