how do you hit a target?
well, before anything else you aim for it.
aiming for it requires direction.
it doesn’t make sense to shoot your shot all willy nilly hoping that you hit your target.
nah… that shit is not a go.
clarity, at the very least, will set you up for bigger success than haphazardly shooting + wishing it lands in your favor will do for you.
now that you’re clear on where you want to go, are you aligned with the direction of your target?
you’ve been heading in the same direction for years now wondering why you haven’t reached your destination, whole time the life you seek to live is the other way.
you know you can turn around, right?
you know you don’t have to keep going down this path, yeah?
alignment. alignment. alignment, fam. are you aligned?
lastly, check your method + environment.
shooting an arrow in the windiest location comes with its own set of challenges.
a rock may travel much further in that environment + when you have a target to hit, it’s worth testing different possibilities.
likewise, wanting to switch up your life in an environment that doesn’t support your lifestyle change is an uphill battle waiting to happen —
you ever decided to take a break from sugar in an household surrounded by your favorite candy, soda, + other sugary processed foods?
didn’t say it can’t be done; however, finding an environment that supports you +/or switching up your approach may lend to greater success.
perfect conditions are ideal + also unrealistically hopeful.
yes, there will be blue skies and
there will be wind,
there will be rain,
there will be unbearable hot days,
there will be hail, sleet, + snow,
+ throughout all of that you will continue to make the necessary adjustments that keep you in alignment with your target; with your goal.
because you have a goal,
you’ve set your intentions,
+ you’re perfectly aligned with what living your life on your own terms looks like for you!
be you, be dope!
