find stability + balance

get to know you, fam.

where does your tongue go when you’re anxious? when you’re relaxed?

what do you do with your hands while you talk?

how is your posture when you walk? how about when you sit?

do you cross your toes? how often do you massage your wrists + do they pop?

when, if ever, do you nervously laugh?

have you suppressed crying recently? if so, why? are you able to release now?

you aren’t the same, sis.

you’ve grown mentally, physically, + emotionally + with growth comes change.

learn the new you.

take care of your body + mind by listening to its needs —

release unnecessary tension,

find stability + balance,

+ embrace your quirks.

awareness allows you to deal with what you’d like to change.

you don’t have to be a prisoner to your facial expressions or your angry outbursts.

you get to decide how you will react + can only do that by learning what triggers it in the first place.

give yourself the space + time to tune into you.

meditate.

journal.

move your body.

you don’t have to judge how you react, rather use it as information to move forward in peace. 💆🏾

be you, be dope!
