say it with me:
done is better than perfect.
done signifies doing.
when something is done, we can celebrate accomplishment + success.
whether what you do is done perfectly or not, there is something to show for your efforts, fam.
what’s best about “done” is having the ability to assess + make changes if necessary +/or moving forward to the next task when satisfied with the outcome of the first.
in the grand scheme of life, perfection does + doesn’t exist at the same time.
life is perfectly imperfect + since perfection is so subjective, the meaning varies from person to person + renders itself insignificant (’cause that shit doesn’t matter anyway).
all you can do is your best.
don’t worry about the optics of it all simply see what needs to be done + do it.
where there is progress, there is participation.
where there is done, there was someone putting in their best efforts to complete the task at hand…
+ that someone can be you.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
what do you need to get done today? serious question: are you worried about the optics of getting it done? if so, why? if not + it still hasn’t been done, what are you waiting for?
