for far too long, as a society, we’ve held onto this concept that we gain access to more possibilities the higher the social ladder we climb.
the more we network with the higher ups,
the more education we receive,
the higher we are positioned in our career,
the more money we make,
+
the better health we’re in typically holds the highest esteem for which we all strive to maintain.
to put it simply, many of us tend to believe this:
the more status one has, the better they are positioned in life.
i’m not here to debate the truth of this statement, fam.
my point of discussion stems from the simple fact that when it comes to having an abundance of possibilities, none of that shit matters.
the world is your oyster, fam.
you don’t need more of something to have endless possibilities — you have that now.
achievement is what we do.
it’s not a wealth moniker moreso than it is an indication that you are fulfilling the possibilities that are afforded to you.
you making a mark in life + leaving a legacy isn’t about having some high paying job,
or
fraternizing with the big wigs,
or
having every letter of the alphabet in degree form behind your name —
no.
today, choose to be dope, choose to do dope things, + choose to live a dope life.
you, like anyone else, have what it takes to make a difference, to leave your mark, + to fulfill your possibilities.
you being you, your perspective, your persistence, your personality + your passion is exactly what the world needs right now, fam.
on purpose with purpose — that’s why you’re here + it’s super clear that you make this world a better place by simply being you.
do what you do,
+ more importantly,
love what you do.
be you, be dope!
