“i can’t do this because…”
+
“they won’t allow me to…” are excuses; barriers at best.
we normalize so much in our lives that it becomes common practice;
however, anything that limits your ability to be yourself fully + completely or robs you of your birthright is not normal, nor does it need to be normalized.
there are, in fact, many challenges that you can find a way to overcome.
with your willingness, the limitations placed on your life can be worked around, worked through, + completely upended.
no one is saying this shit will be easy, straightforward, or will be something you witness completely changing in this lifetime.
what is guaranteed is that if you don’t at least attempt to make some shit move + shake, shit will not move + shake.
today, find the courage to think for yourself, to allow your passions to guide you, to put your best foot forward, + to decide different.
for so long, you’ve been fed lies disguised as limitations about what you can + cannot do, lies you have believed + proudly proclaimed to be true about yourself, your situation, + your impact.
what’s actually true is that you are an alchemist, fam.
you have the power to change anything you touch.
in fact, your energy is so powerful, you can change the whole energetic reading of a room simply by walking by it —
as powerful as that imagery is, imagine how different that room can be with you in it!
the world is your oyster.
decide, today, that nothing — not even you — will stand in the way of you doing your best, making a positive impact on this world, + doing what you know deep down in your core must be done.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
| what is a rule or assumption you live by (e.g., “i’m not good with money,” “i can’t speak in public”) that you treat as absolute fact? where did that rule come from, + who would you be if you stopped following it? |
