there is no doubt that anger arises within you from time to time.

indignant or not, anger is a human experience that we have all have felt at some point in our lives.

so what do you do with it, fam?

when anger finds its way into your day, how do you handle it?

first, take a step back + breathe, sis. 💆🏾💨

is whatever it is worth you coming out of character for here + now?

give yourself some time to think about how you want to respond before actually responding.

i’m not saying a curse out or a door slam isn’t a an option 😅, i’m asking you to think about whether it is a viable option for you.

once you’ve calmed down, get to the root of the issue.

are you angry or are you feeling one of the following:

  • frustrated
  • hurt
  • humiliated
  • forgotten
  • disregarded + rejected

if any of these ring true to you in that moment, keep it real with yourself + work through that feeling.

there is so much energy + power in your anger.

you don’t have to get stuck holding onto it + allowing it to eat at you or unleashing it with the purpose of causing harm to another.

harness it + use it to create the change you wish you see.

use your efforts toward feeling free from all that binds you, makes you see red, + raises your blood pressure.

you deserve to live your dopest iteration yet.

don’t let anger get in your way of experiencing those beautiful moments in your life.
