proving yourself is such an exhausting way to live

proving yourself worthy to others is exhausting.

keeping up an appearance is emotional taxing.

who are you, fam?

you aren’t so far gone that you cannot remember who you are at your core, fam.

no matter how many passions, dreams, + goals of others you chase,

it won’t be as fulfilling as doing something that speaks to your soul, your passion, + your why.

deep down, you crave internal connection.

unfortunately, operating like a robot that only does what other people have programmed it to do only further severs the connection.

the fire within you is still smoldering, indicating one thing:

you’ve got some desire left in you to ignite, explore, + put ablaze.

your why is not completely lost on you + i love that you are still able to feel it, no matter how deeply connected you feel right now.

today, continue getting to know yourself by allowing yourself to explore, to dream, to imagine, + to create new to you experiences for yourself to enjoy.

masking as someone who ain’t the real you,

parading as things are all good when they clearly aren’t,

+

persuading yourself that your passion + your why aren’t adequate enough to expose + explore ends here + ends now.

success is what you make it, fam.

today, rise above your shallowness + get deeper with yourself.

today, remember your why + do shit that speaks to you —

with purpose, with passion, + with pride.

be you, be dope!
