there’s strong ancestral ties in what we say + do

what is something that you can say today that will has a lasting positive impact on the world?

what is something you can do today that will serve as a gift the world can enjoy in perpetuity?

whatever we say + do carries weight, fam.

the impact of our words + actions live well beyond their initial intended purpose.

take a moment to think about phrases you may occasionally say or think to yourself + their origins.

many times, our self-talk is nothing but regurgitated thoughts + words — they are phrases we’ve heard + thoughts that others have articulated about us that we’ve internalized.

much of what we do also has strong ancestral ties —

sayings + actions passed down to us through social conditioning masked as traditions, with some “traditions” so strong they’ve altered our very own DNA.

those generational curses we talk about + are interested in breaking?

nothing more than the residual effect of our ancestor’s words + actions.

today, take an active role in creating your living legacy.

understanding the impact that words + actions have on us means paying attention to not only others, but also what youthink, say, + do.

yes, you may have been told all of your life that you are this + that, what you can or cannot do, + that you are to act a certain way to be perceived as good or bad.

you have a choice today of whether or not you will continue pushing this rhetoric + that you’ll continue treating yourself + others a certain way, or that you will think, say, + do something different.

use your powers — your voice + your deeds — to serve your highest good.

words matter,

actions matter,

+

the impact of both are resounding + residual.

be you, be dope!
