you still taking your life for granted

you still out here taking life for granted, fam?

you still don’t see how dope your life is + how good you have it?

you still only focusing on what isn’t working for you right now vs. all the opportunities thrown your way?

you still holding that grudge? still not acknowledging growth in all parties involved, especially in yourself?

you still ruminating on that one thing you said that didn’t make sense in the moment?

you still giving yourself the blues for something that you felt you should have done but didn’t?

i mean, life does have its challenges + you have faced some obstacles in your life —

+ also (big on the “+ also” energy) 

life is constantly working for your highest good, 

making a way out of seemingly no way, 

presenting you with opportunities that you cannot, at times, fathom, 

giving way for many possibilities so that your life can be unique to you + your situation so that you can experience the dopest moments in life regardless of your current situation or circumstance.

damn — all that good + you still only focusing on what ain’t working for you right now?

so now you have homework: jot down five (5) things you are grateful for right now.

it doesn’t matter wtf you got going on right now ’cause tbh — situations + circumstances never matter, fam.

when you can appreciate anything in life, you have reason, you have purpose, you have a life that is meant to be lived + not criticized for a minor inconvenience.

for every challenge you’ve faced so far, you’ve also crushed + conquered.

it’s clear that only thing that can keep you down is you.

today, refuse to take your life for granted by appreciating how far you’ve come.

doors are opening for you + to see them, you must be in tuned with all the good that surrounds you; with all the possibilities life brings.
