people may have opinions about what you do,
but the person who talks you out of doing most of what you miss out on isn’t them, fam —
it’s you.
your mama can say what she wants about your situation —
ya daddy, too.
your siblings have their thoughts
+
your friends, coworkers, and colleagues are gonna say what they say about what your current circumstance + situation.
+ yet, none of them are louder than your inner voice, fam.
your inner voice can internalize what others say to you only to regurgitate it at the most inopportune times.
it can have you questioning whether you are worthy, capable, +/or qualified.
your inner voice can also talk you out of making moves + discourage you from further pursuing the task at hand due to your conflicting thoughts you have about yourself.
today, acknowledge that you inner voice does, in fact, exist + that you can choose how you hear it + modify what it has to say.
yes, your inner voice can bend to you will + this is how you do it:
you feed it positivity.
you listen to uplifting speeches, songs, + stories.
you surround yourself with supportive people.
you read books + expand your wealth of knowledge.
you remind it of the instances you achieved great success.
instead of risks, you see possibilities.
instead of a challenge, you see an opportunity.
instead of endings, you see new beginnings.
you inner voice may have a whole lot to say, fam, but one thing you can train it to say is that you stand ten toes down about you —
that you believe in who you are + what you have to offer,
that you are living life on your own terms,
+
that you are living a full + rich life overflowing with abundance.
believe it.
live it.
be it.
be you, be dope!
