you’ve always been living the dream

you know what puttin’ in all that effort is gonna you, fam?

success.

accomplishment.

satisfaction. 🤌🏾

go into today knowing that the effort you put into your day isn’t in vain.

to get the results you desire, you must do the work.

+ doing the work doesn’t mean looking like a busy body.

doing the work means you’re intentionally choosing to do what aligns with your goals.

when your goal is to spend more time with your family, working all the time is counterproductive.

likewise, when the goal is to rest + relax, planning a trip with a million things to do + pressuring yourself to do them doesn’t sound like resting + relaxing, either.

slowing down may seem hard, but you will be happy that you decided to take a pause + rest.

you won’t get extra brownie points or a gold star for overworking yourself.

concentrated effort is the best effort because you know what you’re focusing on in the moment + you’re doing exactly what you intended to do.

as it takes effort to be on the go-go-go, it also takes effort to stop + press pause.

today, make use of your freedom of choice + choose how much effort you want to put into actually living a lifestyle that you dream about having because reality is this:

by putting the effort into making your dreams your reality, you’ll see that you’ve always been living the dream…

only this time make sure it’s a dream of your own.

be you, be dope!
