where there is disappointment, there is opportunity.
where there is drama, there is peace.
where there is trepidation, there is ease.
flip your perspective.
you’re seeing one side of the circumstance right now — what about the other side?
why can’t it all work out, fam?
the goal is to embrace it all — the presumably good, bad + outright ugly.
what you want exists because of its opposite’s existence.
they go hand in hand. there is not one without the the other.
do we have to always love what is happening? not necessarily.
after all, you’re a real human with emotions (feel ’em, sis).
so what can we do when we aren’t feeling the current outcome?
we can find the opportunity in disappointment.
we can find the peace in the midst of the drama.
we can find the ease in the storm that is trepidation.
because we know that these things exist, we also know that its opposite is right there ready to be seen, embraced, + accepted.
turn any circumstance you are currently facing into what you most want to see.
that’s the beauty of living life on your own terms —
you get to use your perspective to shape your reality.
be you, be dope!
