so you’re telling me…
you don’t have time to pack your lunch with the groceries you have at home, but you have time to wait in a drive thru line for a coffee or meal?
you can’t make time to admit you were mistaken + clear up miscommunication with a friend, but you have the time to argue with strangers on social media?
you don’t got it in you to sit still + listen, but you have time to sit + watch TV?
you won’t drink more water, but you’ll keep sippin’ on that coffee + soda?
this ain’t to compare or condemn.
these are questions… questions that, after you ask yourself you may discover + undercover what you’re doing vs. what you want.
where’s peace gonna find you when you keep running away from conflict?
how will joy reside when your spirit is unsettled?
where’s freedom’s place when you won’t free yourself with forgiveness?
tackle the small things today.
the big shit we’ve got figured out + ready to tackle before it can fester, mainly because we know the rifts + ripples it can create in our lives.
but the small shit?
oh, we’ll let that continuously slide until it’s too big too avoid.
“it’s hard” can’t be the excuse forever.
you’ve figured out how to overcome a lot of hardships, fam.
so, what is it really?
like weeds in an unattended garden, the small things will grow, overcrowd, + eventually overtake your mind space if you’re not mindful.
find time today to deal with what you keep putting off for tomorrow.
be you, be dope!
