you buggin’, fam!
you’re telling me that you won’t put out your work because it’s not on “that level” yet? that you’re holding back because you recently started + you don’t have what others have?
you’re telling me you pulled your post/shared work because you saw a typo + didn’t have time to correct it … it’s gone? to be clear: the message that was intended for now, for this moment, is gone because it didn’t come perfectly packaged?
you’re telling me you won’t use your gifts because what you’re producing now is not good enough for you?
you’re also telling me you won’t share your gifts because someone else does is better?
damn — cut yourself some slack!
you’re doing your best + that’s all you can do right now.
obviously it ain’t me or the world who needs convincing that you are enough.
it’s up to you to acknowledge that you are enough; that you add value to the lives of others.
it’s up to you to believe that when you keep putting in the effort your work will reflect your persistence.
it’s up to you to show yourself some grace while you continue learning + getting comfortable with putting yourself out there.
stay encouraged by encouraging yourself.
the message you hold in your heart will find those who the message was intended to touch.
affirm yourself:
my heart holds a message that i am ready to share. getting the message out there is my primary focus + i believe that those who need to hear it will.
don’t hold yourself accountable for the reaction of others.
how they choose to behave is on them.
you’re responsible for getting the message out there through whatever medium you feel will convey what your heart yearns to say.
+ that right there is enough.
be you, be dope!

what are you sharing today?
