you ever been so frustrated that you raised your hands, looked up, + said “God, i thank you!“?
you ever been so anxious that you said out loud,
“thank you for this message through feeling! i’m glad that you’ve reminded me how deeply i can care. now, i’m ready to move forward + i’m choosing to welcome (wanted feeling) into this moment”?
have you ever been so afraid of what’s to come, that you stood up boldly + confidently to the unknown?
have you ever paused when met with a challenge + instead of sucking your teeth you simply said, “this is the moment. now is the time. i’m grateful for life + i’m honored that this is mine“?
today, challenge yourself to express gratitude in all ways + at all times (yes, even in what you may consider the most awkward of times).
when you find yourself in these awkward moments, instead of giving the default this is some bullshit response, show gratitude.
the fear you have is working for you, fam.
it’s bringing awareness to your caring heart.
it’s giving you space to stand in uncertainty in the most honest way possible.
it’s reminding you that when you feel fear present, peace is there, too.
fear, frustration, + anxiety are all feelings that remind us that we have a choice.
we can choose to stand in these feelings without acknowledging them, allowing them to compound upon themselves.
we can also send up a genuine heartfelt, “thank you for existing + for bravely showing up when the going gets tough” when we encounter them on our respective journeys.
every thing, all of the things, are working for you.
whatever comes your way today if you must label it, label it as a blessing, graciously accept it for what it is, + watch your life fully transform before your eyes.
be you, be dope!
